CAFOD FAMILY FAST DAY: Today is when we collect the Lenten Fast Day envelopes. Lent is a time when many of us choose to give something up as a reflection of our faith. This year, why not turn whatever you’re giving up – biscuits, wine, magazines, a meal into lasting change for a child, a family or a whole community? Just take what you would save during your 40 days of ‘giving up’ and donate it. Envelopes will be collected after all Masses this weekend and the boxes can be returned on Palm Sunday or Maundy Thursday to be presented at the Offertory of the Mass of the Lord’s Supper.
FAIRTRADE STALL: Fairly Traded Easter Cards and Easter Eggs, as well as food and beverages, will be on sale after all Masses next Sunday 7th March. As Easter Sunday is the first Sunday of the month the next Fairtrade sale will be on Sunday 11th April.
